Brownlow Medallist Adam Cooney has named his best AFL players in some key positions on the ground.

Putting team bias aside, Cooney was asked who the best midfielder, key defender and key forward are in the competition.

The former Bulldog and Don was also asked who he felt the best player in the AFL will be in five years’ time.

Cooney was asked the questions by SEN host Tom Morris. You can also answer the questions on SEN’s 2023 AFL Fan Survey.

Check out Cooney’s answers to the big questions on SEN Sportsday.

Best key forward – Jeremy Cameron – Geelong

Morris: “Putting team bias aside, the best key forward in the AFL is…?”

Cooney: “The best key forward … I've still got ’Jezza’ (Cameron) when fully fit.
