Premiership contenders Geelong and Brisbane could be without two of their most important small forwards for their next respective games after Luke Dahlhaus and Lincoln McCarthy were both offered one-match suspensions.

Match Review Officer Michael Christian on Monday night released his findings from Sunday’s matches, with Dahlhaus offered a one-game ban for a dangerous tackle.

Christian graded Dahlhaus’ tackle on Adelaide ball magnet Matt Crouch as careless conduct, medium impact and high contact.

If Dahlhaus accepts the ban, it means he’d miss the Cats’ upcoming clash against the Western Bulldogs.

McCarthy was charged with engaging in rough conduct against Saint Ben Paton and offered a one-game ban.

The Lions have the bye in Round 14, meaning McCarthy would miss Brisbane’s Round 15 clash against Hawthorn, should he accept the suspension.

Overall there were eight players charged across the three Sunday games.
