Now living in Queensland, she has revealed she is battling stage 4A cervical cancer.

Her parents have created a GoFundMe page, called Kimberley’s Fight For Life, attempting to raise $20,000 for her medical treatments.

“Our beloved bubbly girl Kimberley has been silently fighting a battle with cervical cancer since she was first diagnosed on the 23rd of August 2019”, it says.

“We have recently learned in the last weeks that her treatments and medications have not been successful in slowing down the growth of her cancer and it has now been upgraded to stage 4A and has spread to her kidneys and rectum as well.

“She will now undergo intensive IV chemotherapy to try and kill the active cells and stop it spreading to her lungs.”

Duthie has a two-year-old son and was running a beauty salon before being forced to close it due to the coronavirus crisis.
