Crows national recruiting manager Hamish Ogilvie has promised the latest intake of draftees will make the Adelaide Football Club better.

Ogilvie was at West Lakes on Monday morning to introduce Adelaide’s four national draftees and two new rookies to the wider playing group.

He declared the new arrivals Chayce Jones, Ned McHenry, Will Hamill, Lachlan Sholl, Kieran Strachan and Jordon Butts, in addition to mature-aged pre-draft access pick Shane McAdam and last year’s draftees, would be critical to the future of the football club.

“One thing we promise you is that this group of blokes, they’ll make us better,” Ogilvie told Crows players, coaches and staff.

“They’ll make us better with their enthusiasm, their character, their competitiveness.

“They’re humble young men from good families, they’ll make us better.”
