AFL players living in the 10 post codes that have been put back into lockdown by the Victoria government will have to abide by those restrictions.

The Herald Sun’s Lauren Wood is reporting that they will be subject to the same Stage 3 lockdown rules as everyone else in those suburbs.

Players and club staff will not be allowed to receive visitors from other people at the club who live outside the hot spots and will not be able to play golf, go surfing or sit in a café until at least July 29th.

They will still be allowed to attend training and games as per normal as work falls under the acceptable reasons to leave home.

The Western Bulldogs’ facility sits within one of the locked down suburbs (West Footscray), but they will be allowed to continue operating so long as they continue to follow guidelines.
