Port Adelaide has dropped a massive shock, with captain Connor Rozee available for Thursday’s Showdown despite last week’s hamstring injury.

The superstar midfielder came from the field in the final term of his side’s Round 7 win over St Kilda and the Power advised the following day that Rozee had suffered a low-grade hamstring injury.

But 48 hours out from Thursday’s contest, Port Adelaide has been boosted by the news that Rozee is almost certain to start in Showdown LV.

He passed a fitness test in recent days and reports being pain free.

The Power are also hopeful of welcoming back Ollie Lord (knee), while Josh Sinn is likely to return through the SANFL.

More to come.
