ST KILDA forward Jack Higgins will miss three games after his ban for rough conduct was upheld by the Tribunal in a marathon three-and-a half hour hearing on Tuesday night.

Port Adelaide defender Aliir Aliir’s head hit the ground and he was subbed out of the game after Higgins tackled him in the second term of Friday night’s match at Adelaide Oval.

The Power have confirmed the defender will miss Thursday’s Showdown against Adelaide because of concussion.

The tackle was graded by the Match Review Officer as careless contact, severe impact and high contact.

The Saints (2-5) face North Melbourne (0-7) at Marvel Stadium on Saturday, followed by Hawthorn and Fremantle over the next weeks.
