FOOTY will take a trip down memory lane this weekend as we launch the first match in our Toyota Fixture Throwbacks series.

In the absence of live action, we will air classic matches from years gone by featuring the teams that were initially set to do battle in round two.

A SUPERSTAR IS BORN Celebrating 10 years of a Tiger jet

Via and the AFL Live Official App, the historic encounters will begin on Thursday night when we replay a famous match between arch-rivals Collingwood and Richmond.

Will it be the 2018 preliminary final, when the Pies stunned the red-hot flag favourites courtesy of a Mason Cox masterclass on their way to a shock 39-point win?

Or will we head back to 2016, when Brodie Grundy (“Was it Grundy? It was Grundy!!!”) somehow snapped out of a pack to seal a thrilling one-point win at the MCG?

Or could we head back as far as 2015, when captain Trent Cotchin helped the Tigers to recover from a slow start to narrowly nick a five-point win for his side?
