Superstar GWS captain Toby Greene and gun key forward Jesse Hogan appear destined to come under Match Review Officer strife following a pair of questionable incidents on Saturday.
The Giants fell to Carlton by 19 points at Marvel Stadium after surrendering a 22-point lead late in the first half.
To make matters worse for coach Adam Kingsley, two of his most potent attacking options could be slated for suspension.

In the fourth quarter, Greene jumped into the air in a marking contest, with his shoulder making contact with the head of Carlton’s Jordan Boyd.
“Here’s Toby, you can see he’s originally jumping, but then he’s slow getting there and he chooses to protect himself,” Hawthorn legend Jason Dunstall said.
“He’s got his eyes on the ball when he leaves the ground, but …”
Two-time premiership player David King told Fox Footy: “He’s in trouble.”
“I think Toby’s in trouble. As soon as you stop going for the ball … You can’t put yourself above the other player. The rules have changed.”

Fox Footy caller Anthony Hudson offered his viewpoint on the contentious nature of these sorts of contests.
“Don’t you think it’s really hard for that player (in Greene’s position), though?” he asked.
“I agree, but I just think it’s so difficult … That’s where we’re at, I guess.”
Boyd played out the remainder of the game.
GWS coach Adam Kingsley was adamant there wouldn’t be a case for Greene to answer.
“Which incident? Was that the one in front of the bench? Yeah, (there) won’t be anything in that,” Kingsley said.
“(Greene’s) allowed to contest the ball isn’t he? He’s allowed to launch at the ball? And if you’re running and launching at the ball, you’ve got your eyes for the ball, you try to take a chest mark and you get knocked, free kick against? It’s hard being Toby.”
Greene’s attacking teammate, Hogan, could also come under fire from Michael Christian after he struck Carlton defender Lewis Young high behind play.
“Tell you what, Jesse needs to be careful,” Dunstall said of Hogan’s act.
Like Boyd, Young appeared unaffected by the hit.
Greene escaped suspension last week after his dangerous tackle on Gold Coast’s Mac Andrew came under MRO consideration.
Christian will release any sanctions from Saturday’s games on Sunday evening.
