Collingwood champion Scott Pendlebury has become the first AFL player to reach 10,000 disposals, reaching the milestone in the early stages of the Anzac Day clash at the MCG.

The dual premiership Magpie, who started in the centre of the ground, posted the landmark moment in his 390th AFL game with a humble handball in the defensive 50.

The 36-year-old has averaged 25.6 disposals per match during a decorated career which began in 2006.

With the Magpies under immense pressure, Pendlebury managed to weave the footy through heavy traffic when handballing to Darcy Cameron.
