The biggest home and away game of the season, and one of the AFL’s great annual events, has arrived with Essendon and Collingwood to face off in front of over 90,000 fans at the MCG on Anzac Day.
The Bombers (4-2, 92.7%) are in fine form, winning three of their past four matches, though they’ve lost four straight meetings with Collingwood – three decided in the final minutes.
The Magpies (3-3, 97.6%) are still trying to recover from their slow start to the year, but a brilliant fightback against Port Adelaide last week showed they’ve still got their best footy within them.
