Geelong will be hoping to keep their unbeaten record intact when they host a red-hot Carlton outfit at the MCG on Saturday afternoon.

The Cats (6-0, 141.3%) took care of business on the road against the Lions last week, winning by 26 points in wet and wild conditions.

Similarly, the Blues (5-1, 117.5%) were too strong for the Giants at Marvel Stadium in round six, coming away with a 19-point victory despite their mounting injury crisis.

At the selection table, Chris Scott welcomed back Cam Guthrie alongside Zach Tuohy and Rhys Stanley.

Guthrie will play his first game of the season after recovering from his pre-season quad injury.

Carlton, on the other hand, is unchanged, with coach Michael Voss keeping faith in the side that overrun GWS last Saturday.

While Geelong has won two of its past three matches against Carlton at the MCG, the two sides have met at the home of football just three times since 2010 — with the Cats and Blues to meet at the ‘G again in Round 15.

Overall, the Cats have won three of their past five fixtures against Carlton.

The match gets underway at 4:35pm AEST from the MCG.

Watch it live on Fox Footy (channel 504), streaming on Kayo and via Hubbl from 4:30pm AEST.
