Good evening! Welcome back to ABC Sport’s live blog coverage of the 2024 AFL season. Tonight we head to Adelaide, where the suddenly upbeat Crows welcome the Bombers for a potentially entertaining one under the lights.
Adelaide’s thrilling win over Carlton last week has put some life into their fading season, and though a remarkable recovery and push for finals will be a long shot for the rest of the year there is reason for optimism among Crows fans that the tide has turned and the team is back on the up again.
Essendon have been tough to read all year, but were devastating last week in victory over the Western Bulldogs. Their best is pretty damn good, and if they front up fully committed and competitive tonight they will more than give the Crows a game.
